Catalog Description :  Ordinary differential equations and initial value problems. Euler’s method. Higher order Taylor methods. Runge-Kutta methods. Error control, systems of ordinary differential equations and higher order equations. Linear systems of equations. Operations of linear algebra. Gaussian elimination. Pivoting strategies, LU factorization. Eigenvalues. Iterative methods of Gauss-Seidel and Jacobi. Applications with MATLAB.
